What should I do. My company produces safety-critical software.?

The chief programmer has morphed into a fruitcake and is trying to release software with major faults. The chief tester seems to be ineffective. Someone will be killed by the faulty software if no-one acts.

    This sound like a slighltly commical situation, normaly i would laugh and quit to save my arse, that or report it to the highest person whos not a idiot. If some one could die then youd have to report it to a govermental body, (try telling your boss first). If nothing works and no one listens then you would have to quit to remove any connection, and allowing you to get another job.
