How do I put a CD onto my computer, I have sn,and code #. after I had to stop instsllaton midway?

I placed my auto cad cd into the tower, as it was running it's loading programme it asked me for sn and code #. I did not realize the thes numbers are on the CD. I had to stop and now it will not start the loading programme, but there there is noise in the tower and the red light flashes for a while.

    restart the pc take the cd out clean it then see if any of the install files are on the pc if not reinstall it again and put in the sn,and code
