how do I change a desktop icon? I have yellow folders that I want to change into something else more

I dont want to use the ones that microsoft has when you right click properties on the icon. I want something else... and I cant seem to find any

    Right click the folder, Properties, Customize... "Change Icon" button.

    Right click the icon you want to change, and click "Properties". On the bottom, click the "Change Icon" button. Select one in the window, or "browse" to one you've downloaded to your computer.

    right click the folder click on properties click on the customize tab then click on the change icon tab pick the icon click on ok then click on apply & ok
