well you are correct, you do need to update your bios to upgrade your processor. The thing is that with the motherboard you are using right now (the 900mhz) is going to be to slow for the new athlon 1.15ghz, that is what i
would recommend upgrading. As for your processor i think that you can not upgrade that alone and will need to take it in or contact 1-800-N-E-R-D
