I have decided to go back to college and my kids are now grown and gone. This will be my fourth semester and it has been a rough road, a lot of disapline and many sleepless nites. My thing is failure, I am afraid to fail. Even though I am optimistic and postive. I still get the panic states. Need reassurance. Please contact and talk to me.

Sure you will. It gets better as you go along and experience success. Let go of the fear, it only holds you back, sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy for failure. Look at the positives. Sit in the front row and be noticed. If you're embarrassed to ask a question in front of the class, make sure to get into see the instructor ASAP. This way they know you are interested in doing well and they get to know you. Make sure you have a positive sentence to say to yourself for when you are feeling as if you are heading for failure! If you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. So be sure to think, "I can and will do this!"

Too many people believe if they do as much planning in advance, then they won't fail. I've recently heard that people who succeed the most has more failures than successes. Their failures are small but their successes are huge. Each of your failure is a lesson to be learned so you can amplify the next success.

Stay off Yahoo Answers, it's too addicting and takes too much time away from studying. You'll do fine once you find your groove. Talk to your professors in order to find extra help, there are resources available in most colleges.
