How do I delete a saved document from Microsoft Word??

This document is done and saved to a disc. I would like it deleted from the document file. Help would be appreciated!! Thanks!! Many of you are mentioning a 'right click' of the mouse. My mouse is on a Mac and does not have a 'right' or 'left' click. Also, I want to delete this from the saved documents in the computer, not the disc. The disc is out of the computer. The document is in the saved documents in the computer.

    insert the dick in to the a drive and find the file u want to delete and right click and choose delete..

    If you've saved the document to disc, all you have to do is bring the document up again in word. I'd do a little typing on it just to be sure that it recognizes that you worked on the document, then click the x in the upper right hand corner. A prompt will come up and ask if you want to save the document. Just click no. It will varify and click no again.

    right click in you saved file and then hit delete. You can do mutible docs that way too. Just hold the control key and select all u want to delete and then right click and choose delete.

    you can do this by : 1 search the file ,find it right click then delete 2 click the file press"shift+del" to remove completely from storage devie. 3 close the word editor ;it will asks you to save change choose no.

    There are two different ways that you can do this. #1 Find the file on your hard drive in explorer and right click and delete (or the delete key) #2 In word go to 'File' then 'Open' and right click and delete it from there. If you can't find the file you can go to your start menu and click search, and there you can search for the name of the file if you do not know what directory that it's in. Hope this helps! Jason
