How to you get to play an mkv format file with windows media player 11???

Im trying to watch a movie but its an mkv file and windows medi a does not support that file.I need to know how to watch an MKV FILE.I NEED TO WATCH JIN-ROH.PLEASE HELP

    Go find the codec that allows you to play mkv formatted video files, just google mkv codec and look for something that looks reasonable :)

    Download VLC Media Player from http://www.VideoLan.org It will play almost all formats except for Real.
