trying to burn to Cd but it keeps telling me there is no disc in Cd drive . please insert a writabl

   you can try uninstalling your drive and reinstalling it go into device manager right click on my computer click on manage click on device manager expand your cd roms right click on your burner click on uninstall then at the top of the chain in device manager you should see your computer name right click on that then click on scan for hardware changes it should find and reinstall your burner have you tried to reboot have you tried to reinstall the driver

   May be there is any problem on that CD, try to use another blank CD, if Message still comes then u have problem in ur CD-writer

   Here are two reasons that I have found in my experience: 1) The drive needs to be cleaned 2) The drive doesn't "like" the CD-R disc. Try another disc or another brand.

   1) the cd may b not proper 2) ur cd writer is not working properly, get it cleaned or check the laser.

   u can get another cd...n just check if there's anything in the cd..i never know..ok

   maybe ur blank cd is damaged

    May be you have two CD Players in your system.The software must have been pointing some other drive.
