Do you need special equipment to burn and down load music for karaoke cds in order to get both music

I want to make my own karaoke cds for parties but I can not find a site with both the words and the music if anyone knows of a place please let me no thsnks.

    yes it takes a special cd burner. don't remember the name only one company currently markets one in the US. But the format is CD-G
