get a spam blocker or delete the account and create a new one and dont give your address to anyone online just people you know.

My advice to you is to just get a yahoo mail and have all your important stuff switched to ur new email address. Yahoo has a spam guard and if something that u don't want is accidental put in ur in box, you can hit spam and it won't happen anymore.

check them all then click on spam, it might take a few times to spam them, but they will stop.

I believe you can set your spam to delete junk e-mails but make sure you put the ones you want to receive in a safe place

Well it depends on which email provider you are using. Most of them have a spam mail filter. When you open a mail somewhere on the page it says Report as spam or blulk mail. Just click this link. Also you can set custom filters so that such mail is directly moved to thrash. But you will have to set many of them. If your problem still persists then you should get a new email address. And remember don't again give your address on useless websites, etc. Also don't tick any fields like hobbies, interests etc. on any such web sites on infact any websites.

Get yourself a free Bayesnian spam filter. Check SpamBayes.com for a good freebie. It installs into MS Outlook.

You do not indicate if they are going into your inbox or your bulk folder. If they are in your inbox, put an "x" in the box preceding the sender, then click the SPAM button. That address will be blocked. We are allowed to block 500 addresses (I think). If they are going into your bulk folder, in Yahoo Mail, click the Options button, General Preferences. Set the number of e-mails you want to display at a time. I display 25 so I can quickly check the sender (in case something I want accidentally landed there). If something you want is in the bulk folder, put a checkmark in the box then click the "move to" button, and select "inbox." If you want to dump the rest, or all 25, click on the "check all" button, then click "delete." Use anti-spy that comes with the Yahoo toolbar. Run it regularly - like every other day. It only takes 1 1/2 minutes on my system and will list tracking cookies which you can delete. In IE, click Tools, click Internet Options. click Delete Cookies. click Delete Files (offline files). I hope this helps. If your problem persists, just set up a new account, notify your friends and anyone else who matters, and forget the other.

Learn how to use the filters options so that most of the mail goes to your bulk folders. Filters take any keywords that are usually found in spam such as "mortgage" or "porn" and makes sure that those e-mails are not delivered into your box. Not all the spam will be eliminated but if you keep using key words, most of it will be stopped.

unsubscribe link on email; for those w/o links just hit 'spam' button on email and they go away
