Please tell me the chepeast but most efficient way of submiting a website to search engines and dire

I am looking for the most efficient but cheapest way of submitting a website i have to search engines and directories. I am also looking into affordable ways of linking the website.

    You can take a look at Best of The Web. They currently allow you to advertise your site free for 60 days. You can also try to submit your site to them. I usually go to Addme.com to submit my site for free however I don't find it that effective. If you write content and articles for your site and need traffic, do take a look at digg.com.     Here are directories to submit to that will get better link popularity: http://dir.yahoo.com/ http://www.dmoz.org/ http://directory.hyipo.net/ http://searchsight.com/ and many more. and this is a free way of submiting a website to directories. Now for search engines I recommend you submit to: Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

    You're best bet is to submit to the top search engines manually then build up inbound and outbound links. Get listed in Google, MSN, DMOZ and yahoo. Google is THE most important to get in not only because it is the most popular but also because it is the power behind many other search engines.
