i am trying to make a pdf from in design and in pcs I can not see the chonise characters.anY SETTING

i have some text in in design in chinise characters, and when i export the file as a pdf from my mac ...and i open it in a pc i can not see the text! is there any setting in indesign for flattening images and text as pdf?

    If your Chinese font character set is installed on your computer and you can view the characters in your document, there is a trick. Just save a separate copy of your InDesign document and call it something else. Now take that copy, select the text that is in Chinese characters and from the Type menu, choose "Create Outlines". That will convert your Chinese font to vector outlines so that when you export the document to PDF, they will show up.

    I think if you embed the fonts into the PDF, it will show up when you open it in a PC. Most likely, it doesn't show up because the PC have no Chinese Language support.
