how can I get around internet filters? i want to check my e-mail and my space while at work?

   well if you dont want to be bathered you should log on to yahoo messanger first then click sign on as invisible or when the people pop up at the top right hand corner click ignore or report as spam.

   Some companies actually want you to work instead of checking your email and browsing on myspace. There is not a legal way to do that, only your tech at work can unlock it, and good luck on that one...

   using a proxy server won't help you. the company can look at their server logs and tell you have been using one which would tell them you weren't working. they also use a program called a keylogger to log everyone of your keystrokes do your work and you'll be there long after others have been fired
