How to design RESUME ?

Iam a multimedia student i have knowledge on Corel draw, Photoshop, Dreanweaver and Flash and iam fresh, so kindly help me preparing my RESUME ? ... Thankyou.

    Keep it simple but make sure to state the full length of your abilities. State your experiences. Though you do not have a permanent job yet you could state the freelance jobs you did in the past. Bring samples of your work or better yet start on a portfolio. If you like, do what I did... Do some cool effects on Photoshop and use it as a watermark for you Resume. It picques their interest and might start asking questions that could help cover some blunders. But remember to keep it sleek and tasteful. Too much design tends to throw them off and send bad signals to the employer that you may have the tachnical skills but not the artistic ones... Good luck...

    Its very easy to make a resume. You can get samples on loads of web sites. For example http://www.acreativeresume.com/images/resume_sample3.jpg . Have a look. Use Google Image search and you will get loads of other samples.

Do: * Tailor the resume to the opportunity by highlighting your qualifications and expertise that match specific job requirements. * Accurately summarize the software and technologies that you are familiar with and how long you have used each one. * Highlight your achievements by demonstrating the ways in which the projects you worked on affected the company's bottom line. Did they increase sales, broaden the customer base, enhance visibility, reach target markets or improve productivity? * Clearly show areas where you have been given increased responsibility for a job well done. * Include special recognition, awards and participation in relevant professional organizations. * Proofread for errors. You can be screened out for not being detail-oriented. * Review your resume with your references so they are up-to-date on your current accomplishments. * Update your resume after every position or significant freelance assignment. When Preparing Your Resume ... Don't: * Misrepresent your education or experiences; one fabrication is often grounds for termination. * Give reasons for termination or leaving a job. * Include personal information such as your height, weight, Social Security number, social activities, and personal or religious philosophies. * List references or state: "References available on request." The interviewer will assume that you will provide these contacts when asked. * Use exact dates. Months and years are sufficient. * Include your phone number or e-mail address at your current job unless your boss is aware of your intent to leave. * List your high school education if you're a college graduate. * Provide salary information in the resume.     You want to make a template for resumes for people to use? Or you mean you want to make up your own resume to submit to companies? I always use Microsoft Office for my resumes. They have tons of templates you can use, and help as well.

    Yeah, what you want to do is check out the examples of resumes that are out there. Some sites host resume samples for you, like this one http://www.resume-sample-example.com/ Or you could try a wizard inside Microsoft Word.
