Why Can't I Install Macromedia Flash Player On My Computer?
I enabled all of the active x controls and made sure my security level was medium. I want to play games on gametap. Help!! Thank you!
I went directly to the adobe website - did not work. And, no, I do not get an error message.
Thanks for the ideas. Any more?
Patrick C - you are awesome!! It worked! I will give you best answer as soon as Yahoo will let me!

I'm not sure, but if you are installing it from the Adobe installation page and it still isn't working, maybe try getting Mozilla Firefox:
http://www.getfirefox.com
And installing Flash onto Firefox (go to the Adobe download page again: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW)
As this Flash seems to be separate from Internet Explorer's Flash. Mozilla Firefox is a great web browser (i'm using it right now) and might solve the problem if you can't get Flash to work in Internet Explorer.

Do you get an error message?
Try installing it directly form the Adobe web site:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
The reason that you may be having problems is that some websites do not properly send you the ActiveX control.
