im in the uk yeh. and my dvd player takes PAL like does the whole of uk for dvds ok and the region is 2. im downloadin a film which is of better quality but is 4.8gbs and is NTSC which works for usa etc, is there neway of wen burning the film of changin the format to PAL from NTSC? as other wise i dont think ntsc will play on my player. phew, that was a lot of explaining!!

    if you are downloading it onto your hard drive, and it plays fine then you should be able to read it watch it etc. on any good burning software, just when you go to burn it, tell it what format you want it burned to your disk as, just know that when you go to a lower frame rate format it will not look as good and maybe choppy, when you read it of the disk. also If I remember right PAL, and NTSC, is more about the way it is burned on the disk and read from the disk, not on what format is used.

    It should play on your comp but otherwise just use the likes of nero to convert

    gonna need a dvd player from the states (cheapest way) only prob will be the diff in the electrical supply (120 vs 220) will need a converter/inverter

    have u tried unlocking your dvd player , u can get the codes off the internet , i did and i can watch any region

    Kind of hashing the english language are you not???? You may or may not find a way to change the format, but my player can play both US dvd's and UK ones, so you could just give it a try and see if it works.
