When using Notepad,my text(sentenences and paragraphs)get out of alignment when I print.What am I do

I am not Notepad and Wordpad savy, just started using them for printing schoolwork reports and such. When I print from Notepad my sentenences and paragraphs become separated and out of alignment, and/or pushed together where there should be spaces between paragraphs. Please give some detail when answering if possible. Your response is much appreciated. Thank you
