A window appears on the screen saying that this program has performed an illigal operation.?

When opening the Yahoo page, a window apperas on the screen saying: IEXPLORER. This program has performed and illigal operation and will be shut down. DETAILS: I explorer caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel 32. DLL I have no option but to close the window and closes whatever program I'm in. Any suggestions that I can do to stop this from happening?

    You must be running Windows XP Home edition right? Download Service Pack 1 and 2 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads

    IE crashed. might help to update your computers software, and to do general matinance on it.

    it kind of sounds like a virus or spyware folt. best thing to do is to run an antivirus and spyware scan, to c if ders any thing wrong.
