i need a paint and edit program for mac.how come i dont get it with the package ?

i have a logo i want to edit as well as write on pics and stuff for my myspace and website. what is the application called if i already have it. or what is the one i need to download? new to mac comps and loving it

    Usually if you go the mac website {apple.com} you can find some free software for just about everything, though a lot of it is just demo stuff.

    Mac users love adobe so i recommend you photoshop and illustrator or fireworks and freehand done by macromedia now adobe

    Macs don't come with crap free software, that's how they stay good. If you were of low moral standing I would NOT sugesst using limewire to pinch Photoshop elements or coral draw. Being a good person you ought to go to the apple website and have a look for some free/shareware in the downloads section. You made a good choice with mac, this sort of stuff is a piece of piss

    Go to the adobe site and you can get trial versions of all their programs - they're really easy to use and loads of tutorials on the internet - for editing pics, you want photoshop and for text/logos etc. illustrator.

    Look in /Application folder you will find there a folder "Graphic Convector" Open it, run the app and when you load an image you can do basic editing as well as converting image files into heaps of a different graphic format. That software comes bundled with the OS X.
