    It is one and the same thing. It depends on the brand. a company calls its a laptop another calls its a notebook. IBM calls it as a Thinkpad. its just depends on the company.

    Nothing. People call Notebooks Laptops because they are mostly use on their laps.

    The terms are used interchangeably, but notebooks are usually used to describe lighter, more portable laptops that you could stick in your backpack or purse to use as an electronic "notebook"

    yeah nothing laptop is a notebook, vice versa.... jus a different name...cuz ppl usually use it on there laps. and people carry it like a notebook (replacement)

    notebooks are generally referred to apple genre and laptops PC genre but technically they are the same.. a portable full-fledged computer.
