    My friends have never turned against me. But I have, I must confess, and so I can write an answer to this question of yours. First of all, may be he never was your best friend. Many a times ego comes as the reason. There may be many other reasons. But dont worry. What you should try to do is to talk with your friend, may be he does not want to, but if u still want to be friends with him, and think good for him, then dont leave him. A true friend never leaves you, may be you try to leave him. My friends have never left me, though many a times due to ego and misunderstanding I have hurted them. I thank God for giving me such true friends in this life.

    because the best friend knows everything about you and if he/she wants, he/she can turn that against you. be careful who do you trust!

    hmm did they change c++ to have not just friend, but best friend. Maybe the writer of the class didn't want the other class to have access to its members anymore so it said you aren't my friend

    That happens in junior high and occasionally in high school. If you're truly "best friends" it won't happen after that. There's no excuse for that.
