How do I set Disk Defragmenter in Windows XP Professional to constantly run and defragment files as

I recently did a system restore, and now I can't find any option for this function, but I had disk defragmenter monitoring continually prior to the restore, so I know there is a way.

Anyway you put it, you better do it manually, that's the only way how could your computer defragment something that don't recognize itself as a prior need, the defragmeter is used when the RAM( random acces memory), let's say is "spread out", so YOU need to re-organize..your computer wont know when it's time for one, it just says that you should do it once in a while to keep all the files in order(that's whay it tells you to do it every certain period of time)

The defrag built into Windows has been terrible or non-existent since it's birth, and the situation has not changed. I use a program called Diskeeper, which I have set to auto-defrag every time my screen saver comes on. You CAN set it to check continuously too though.
