MS Access Report layout problem?

Ive got a report in MS Access. I set up the page setup to a setting I want ie margins, landscape page and columns but i find that sometimes when I open the report again the settings get defaulted to the orignal settings and I have to change the settings again. This is bugging me, any reason for this , how can I prevent it.
