I have an extra computer, but its old and I cant find a way to Restore it back to Factory Settings.

At this distance it is difficult to diagnose your problem, but for starters you could power on and as the PC goes into BIOS press F8. You then need to force the machine to go into "Safe Mode". Keep experimenting until either you succeed or you get so frustrated that you nearly throw it out of the window. If you don't succeed ask all your friends if they know someone that can help. I'll bet there is somebody not a million miles away that can fix it in just a few minutes. When you have got it fixed you must create a recovery disk to save all this from happening again.

If it's an old compaq or HP try this:
www.hp.com or www.compaq.com - look in the software section.
If it's an old Dell:
www.dell.com
Whatever the computer's maker you can look up the site for them for support thru Google or Yahoo Search or any search engine.

need a bit more info - what is the make of the computer - what os is it etc
If it an old OS win 95 or 98 - you are out of luck the major corps don't support it any more including microsoft

I guess you could try calling the original manufacturers of your computer to see if they can offer you one that is compatible with yours. Just don't use a restoration disc that came with a different computer. You could also just buy a Windows XP cd and install it that way.
