why does it keep on saying this is a trial version?

i downloaded a copie of Commview the other day but it was a trial, when it ended i errased it and downloaded another real copie of the program, but whenever i try to open it it says "this trial version has expired" and i have downloaded this program like a dozen times from a dozen different places what can i do to make it work

    most of the program that you donwloaded from Internet are trial verision, what you need to do is to look for a right serial for that program. you can go to www.freeserials.com to download the serials.

    when you do that the program leaves a trace on your harddrive somewhere to combat people not buying the program and simply uninstalling and reinstalling it to use it for free. same as with AOL or netzero. it logs when the program was first installed and makes sure that once it expires it cannot be installed again for additional use. either buy the program or wipe out you harddrive completely and then start over with the installation and you should be able to use it again.

    Try unstalling the software again and erase all the regs it created for the installion (only if you really know how you are doing it or else dont) and perhaps you should erase the files folder it must have created in the program files for windows... if that doesnt make it... then I wouldnt know.
