why does aol have to suck so much?

it always breaks down and stalls up my pc. it destroyed by laptop so bad I had no choice but to zip the drive. why does it want to update every 12 seconds

    i have the same problem. try uninstalling useless programs. also, try using anti-spyware programs to speed up your computer.

    AOL is notorious for doing what you've just described. I highly recommend changing services.

    Its geared towards 12 year old girls and they dumb it down so much that they allow so much crap to entangle the other crap they have on there. Anyone serious about web browsing should stay away from AOL and use something like Firefox. So much cleaner and stable.
