why would yahoo us pop up, and call then tabs ,when they have a pop up blocker?

   tabs and pop ups from sites are usually 2 different things ....the tabs are uaually active X thingys that u have to have to see some of the things from download sites and pop-ups are ads from companies that want to sell ya something ...is the way i understand it
