in your 'where' clause setup a condition for that field

where dateField = '8/9/2006'

if the field also contains time information you can setup a range in order to find all entries for a given day like this

where dateField >= '8/9/2006' and dateField < '8/10'2006'

you must first learn basic design in flash and u know work with tools and menu's
then you must learn action script to performance your project
never learn both together(first basicdesign)
to make a cartoon animation u need know basic design
and for game u must know actionScript to handle event

steps
1- go to control panal (in XP click start then control panal)
2- click on "switch to classic view" if its is catagory view
3- double click Mouse a window appear
4- select "Pointers" tab from top
5- click on "browse..." and select any *.ini or *.cur file (those are called mouse pointers)
